Description
|
Aberdeen city councillors have agreed to support the European project. 11.04.2012: the EU FCH Bus fleet project was launched on Marche 24
Government funds the demonstration of a whole renewable hydrogen system, connecting a 1 MW electrolyser to the grid , in conjunction with a wind farm located in Aberdeen Shire, to explore the grid impacts and energy storage potential of hydrogen production and to provide the "green" hydrogen to the planned fleet of H2 FC buses.
10 hydrogen fc buses will be ordered. Bus and station operation should start by early 2014.
Also refueling of passenger cars will be possible.
The station will be also available for passenger cars.
