GS - 4.2 MW Afyon Biogas Energy Power Plant, Turkey
The purpose of the proposed Afyon Biogas Power Plant is electrical energy generation from biogas and organic fertilizer production.

GS - Samsun Landfill Gas to Energy Project, Turkey
The proposed activity involves the collection and utilization of the landfill gas that is generated at the Samsun landfill site, Turkey, to generate electricity with an installed capacity starting with 1.2 MWe and reaching 4.8 MWe throughout the investment.

GS - 8.40 MW GEMCILER HYDRO POWER PROJECT, Turkey
Gemciler diversion weir and HEPP project will be implemented on Göksu stream in Gölbaþý district of Adýyaman province. The project will be generating 40.26 GWh/year electricity from renewable sources and deliver it to the national grid.

GS - Saray HEPP, Turkey
Saray small scale HEPP Project is a run-of-river hydropower plant, owned by LASKAR Enerji Uretim Pazarlama A.S. It is planned to be located on Iyidere stream of Eastern Black Sea Basin within the borders of Of county of Trabzon province in order to appraise the tail water of Incirli HEPP project in Kalkandere county of Rize province in Turkey, which is also owned by LASKAR Enerji Uretim Pazarlama A.S. The installed capacity of the project is 13.5 MW with three turbines of 4.50 MW.

VCS - 1.605 MW Tuztasi Hydro Powerplant Project, Turkey
The purpose of this project activity is to generate electricity from renewable sources and supply electricity to the national grid to meet the ever increasing energy demand in Turkey. The location of this small-scale run-of-river type hydro power plant is in Sivas province, Gemerek County on the Göksu Stream.

GS - Clean and Efficient Cooking and Heating Project, China
Jinqilin has developed a quality control system for the stove production process in order to increase the average lifetime of stoves sold. To this end, Jinqilin is also establishing a customer service system which will assist with end-user technical support.

GS - Suluköy Hydro Power Plant Project, Turkey
The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity from renewable sources and sell it to the national grid to meet the ever increasing energy demand of Turkey. The project uses the water power of two streams and therefore one diversion weir will be built on Ulupinar stream while the other will be built on Acisu stream.

GS - Qori Q’oncha – Improved Cookstoves Diffusion Programme in Peru
The project activities are the dissemination and transfer of 45,329 improved cookstoves in Cajamarca, Huancavelica Moquegua and Piura in Peru.

VCS - Hasankale Run-of-River Hydro Powerplant Project, Turkey
The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity from renewable sources and supply electricity to the national grid to meet the ever increasing energy demand in Turkey. The location of this small-scale run-of-river type hydro power plant is in the border of provinces Nevsehir and Kayseri, on Kizilirmak River.

VER+ - PUCK WIND FARM GENERATION PROJECT IN THE GNIEZDZEWO AREA NEAR THE PUCK COMMUNE IN THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND
The main purpose of the Project is the energy production by wind turbines substituting electricity from the Polish National grid operated by Energa Operator SA – local electric distribution company. By replacing electricity mainly generated on basis of fossil fuels GHG emissions in Polish national grid are reduced.

GS -14.971 MW Sucati Small Scale Hydropower Project, Turkey
The Sucati small scale HEPP Project (hereinafter referred to as „the proposed project?) is a run-of-river type small scale hydropower plant, located in Yesilirmak Basin, on Tozanli Stream of Yesilirmak river in Almus county of Tokat province in Turkey.

GS - Pamukova Integrated Solid Waste Management Plant Project, Turkey
The project applies anaerobic digestion technology to dispose 16,029 tons of organic waste, 1,970 tons of vegetable waste and 13,134 tons of animal manure each year. The output from composting will be used to produce fertilizer with the production capacity up to 30,000 tons each year. During the anaerobic digestion process, approximate 4 million m3 of biogas will be generated, which will be fed into CHP for the electricity and heat generation.

VCS - Gökgedik 24.29 MW Runoff river HEPP, Turkey
The grid-connected electricity generation from renewable sources project Gokgedik 24.29 MW runoff river HEPP in Turkey will be referred to henceforth as Gokgedik HEPP. Gokgedik HEPP involves the installation and operation of a tunnel system and three turbines to best suit the local condition of the project area.

GS - PoA - Solar Lighting in Rural Ethiopia
The project aims to provide households in Ethiopia who have no access to the electricity grid, with solar PV lighting systems. Currently the prevalent form of lighting in rural Ethiopia is the use of kerosene lamps. The VPoA will reduce emissions by replacing greenhouse gas (GHG) emitting kerosene lamps with solar PV lighting systems.

VCS - BATISÖKE Söke Çimento Sanayii T.A.S. 5.5 MW Cement WHR Project, Turkey
The project shall implement a 5.5 MW waste heat recovery solution at BATISÖKE Söke cement plant.

VCS - BATICIM BATI ANADOLU CIMENTO SNANAYII 9 MW Cement WHR Project, Turkey
The project shall implement a 9 MW waste heat recovery solution at BATICIM-IZMIR cement plant.

GS - Qielong 1.2MW Hydro Power Project, China
The project is located on downstream of Qielong Gully, a branch of Daxia River, in the Madang Township, Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, P.R.China. Its construction includes mainly an intake gate, a flushing gate, an overflow weir, diversion canals, a forebay, and a power house.

VER - Dagdelen Weir and HEPP, Turkey
The proposed project is located at Upper Ceyhan Basin and planned as a run of river type at operation water level 1111.40 and tailwater level 1095.00 m. Two turbines having a total installed capacity of 7.91 MW will utilize local hydropower resources to generate and feed electricity to the National Grid via 34.5 kV transformer in Doganköy Substation.

VCS - Sarigüzel Dam and Hydro Electric Power Plants, Turkey
The project will be used only for energy generation purpose and has an Energy Generation License for 49 years obtained from EMRA in 09/03/2006.

VCS - Incirli Hydro Power Plant, Turkey
The Project is a grid connected large-scale hydroelectric power plant which uses the water supply of Iyidere river in Kalkandere district of Rize Province of Turkey.

VCS - Small-Scale Hydropower Project Sahanivotry in Madagascar
SHPP is located on the river Amparnehana within Sahanivotry village about 30 km of Antsirabé, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar. The geographical co-ordinates of the project are 47°08’ East (longitude) and 20°12’ South (latitude). The project activity produces clean electric energy by making use of available water sources. There are no GHG emissions in the whole process of power generation by the project activity.

GS - Gold Standard Validation of the CDM project “TBEC, Thailand
The project involves the construction of anaerobic wastewater treatment facility at Tha Chang factory to treat wastewater from Tha Chang Palm Oil mill and Rubber factory. A Covered inground anaerobic reactor (CIGAR) was verified during the site visit, to capture biogas and generate electricity, which would be supplied to the grid and the excess would be flared in an open flare.

VER+ - Esen Energy Project, Esen I Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, Mugla province, Turkey
The Esen I Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) (hereafter referred to as “the Project”) located in the West Mediterranean Basin at the southwestern part of the Turkey, at an aerial distance of about 40 km to Fethiye town in the province of Mugla and the west of Elmali town in the province of Antalya. The project is being developed by Göltas Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.S., a Turkish private company with national activities in the energy sector. VCS - Fuelling a greener future for farmers in Malawi through the use of Jatropha curcas; Malawi
The project is a revegetation activity aimed at utilising degraded and marginal land for the establishment of Jatropha curcas hedgerows, mainly along fields and homesteads, or, in small proportions (approx. 5-15%) planted as monocultures.

CCBA - Afforestation and Reforestation on Degraded Lands in Northwest Sichuan, China
The proposed A/R CDM project activity will be implemented at the upper reaches of Minjiang River and Jialingjiang River, the main first order branches of the Yangtze River. The project area is also one of the key areas of the biodiversity conservation.

CCBA - Kachung Forest Project: Afforestation on Degraded Lands, Uganda
The proposed A/R CDM project activity is located in East Africa, in the Republic of Uganda. The specific area of project activity is in the Kachung Central Forest Reserve in the administrative district and county of Dokolo and the sub-county of Agwata. The project activity will establish and manage exotic and indigenous plantations on approximately 2,130 ha of degraded grass and shrubland.

CarbonFix - BaumInvest Reforestation Project
The project area consists of two adjacent properties covering a total area of 216 ha, located in the remote Northern Zone of Costa Rica, close to the frontier to Nicaragua. The colonization of this region did not begin until the late 19th century and most of the settlements in today’s district of Pocosol de San Carlos (Province of Alajuela) were founded after 1954.

VCS - Sebenoba 30 MW Wind Farm: Emission reductions from grid connected renewable electricity generation, Turkey
DENIZ ELEKTRIK ÜRETIM LTD. STI plans to install a wind power plant in the district of Samandag – Yayladagi (west part of the wind park is located in Samandag Distrinct, east part is in Yayladagi Distrinct) in Turkey. The purpose of the project is to generate carbon neutral electricity and to feed it into the public grid.

VCS - Warmian-Masurian Poland Afforestation Project, Poland
Global CO2 Reduction Inc. (GCR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carbon Friendly™ Solutions Inc. (the “Proponent”) will implement an afforestation project in northern Poland to increase carbon stocks in woody biomass and mitigate climate change. The project is designed to benefit the climate and reduce atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide with a crediting period of 30 years, over the project lifetime 60 years.

CCBA - OBERALLMIG CLIMATE PROTECTION PROJECT, Switzerland
The project area is the already existing forest that belongs to the OAK Schwyz. Goal of the project is to increase the biomass content by increasing the standing timber volume through improved forest management. The present land use is forest and the land use in the absence of the carbon binding project is also forest.

GS - D.light Rural Lighting Project Tanzania
For the majority of all Tanzanian households kerosene is the main energy source used to provide light. Kerosene lamps are poor quality lights and a major source of both indoor air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions. Under the D.light Rural Lighting Project Tanzania D.light introduces solar lighting systems to rural Tanzanian households that use kerosene for lighting purposes. In the project emission reductions will be achieved by replacing use of kerosene with generation of renewable solar energy for lighting purposes.

GS - GEYCEK Wind Farm Project, Turkey
The purpose of the proposed project activity is to build and operate a new wind farm in Turkey near Kirsehir in the south east of Ankara. The project construction will start in October 2009. The total installed capacity of the project is 115 MW (46 turbines x 2.5 MW).The annual net electricity generation of the project is estimated at 325,000 MWh. The power output will be exported to the Turkish grid and sold to the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEÐAS) under the Law No. 5346 and to wholesalers, eligible consumers or on the spot market.

AAU - Paide Bioenergy JI Project, Estonia
The main feature of the project is the heat production by biomass substituting former heat production by shale oil.

VCS - “Terra Industries, Yazoo City AOP # 9, Nitrous Oxide Abatement Project, USA
Terra has implemented a project activity aimed to reduce N2O emissions at its nitric acid plant, Yazoo City AOP #9.

GS - 15 MW Boreas I Wind Energy Power Plant Project - Turkey
The aim of BOREAS-Enez Wind Power Station Project is the constructing and operating of a wind power station with the capacity of 15 MW to generate electrical energy in the Province of Edirne, Enez District, Kocatepe Hisarli Mountain, Local of Panayirkasi Hill.

VER+ - Jeonnam Photovoltaic VER+ Project II (11.8767 MW PV Power Plants), Korea
The project activity generates 26,080 MWh of electricity from 22 separate solar PV power plants with from 0.029 to 3.0 MW capacities. This will replace use of fossil fuels resulting in GHG emission reductions of GHG emission in the amount of 17,089 tCO2e per year.

VER+ - Jeonnam Photovoltaic VER+ Project I (12.56932 MW PV Power Plants), Korea
The project activity generates 27,892.5MWh of electricity from 16 separate solar PV power plants with from 0.099 to 3.0 MW capacities. This will replace use of fossil fuels resulting in GHG emission reductions of GHG emission in the amount of 18,277 tCO2e per year.

VCS - “Terra Industries, Verdigris Nitrous Oxide Abatement Project, Area # 2 plant.”, USA
The project activity involves the installation of a secondary catalyst to abate N2O inside the ammonia burner once it is formed.

VCS - Methane Recovery and Utilization at United Plantations Bhd, Jendarata Palm Oil Mill, Philippines
The project activity is to install a closed continuous-flow stirred tank reactor (CSTR) anaerobic digester plant for the treatment of palm oil mill effluent, POME. Anaerobic digestion in the tank will produce biogas which will be captured and utilised to generate steam for their own consumption at Unitata Refinery which is a sister company of UP Berhad located next to Jendarata palm oil mill.

VER+ - Biomass Based Cogeneration Units at Uttar Pradesh, India
The project activity, which is a ‘carbon neutral fuel’ based cogeneration plant, generates electricity in addition to steam to meet captive electricity requirement thereby displacing an equivalent amount of electricity the plant would have generated through fossil fuels. Diesel generator sets will continue to be used as standby.

GS - Landfill Gas Extraction and Electricity Generation Project – Istanbul, Turkey
The project is undertaken by Ortadogu Enerji A.S. The project involves the development, and construction of two waste-toenergy facilities at both landfill sites. The project objective is to build, operate, and maintain two landfill waste-to-energy systems consisting of LFG collection systems, flaring stations, and gas engines coupled with generators to produce electricity. The gas engines will combust the LFG to produce electricity, and any excess LFG will be flared.

VCS - Clinton Landfill #2 Gas Collection and Combustion Project, USA
The project activity is the capture and destruction of methane from the Clinton Landfill #2, via combustion engines. The generated electricity is sold to the local grid. However, the displacement of fossil fuels resulting from this activity is not included in this Project and emission reductions from the offsite use of electricity are not addressed in this Project Description.

GS - Tonk Biomass Project, India
The following proposed Gold Standard project activity is located in the State of Rajasthan, India. The project involves the implementation of a biomass-based power generation plant using direct combustion boiler technology by Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd.

VCS - CGN Gansu Anxi Daliang 49.5MW Wind Power Project, China
The objective of CGN Gansu Anxi Daliang 49.5MW Wind Power Project, a grid-connected renewable power project, is to utilize the wind resources for generating renewable electricity to supply into the Gansu Gird, an integral part of the Northwest China Grid.

The anearobic digestion of animal manure at Andreou Farm consist of two subprojects, which both treat manure of both swines and dairy cows.

VCS - CGN Jilin Daan 49.5MW Wind Power Project, China
The objective of CGN Jilin Daan 49.5MW Wind Power Project, a grid-connected renewable power project, is to utilize the wind resources for generating renewable electricity to supply into the Jilin Gird, an integral part of the Northeast China Grid.

VCS - Fujian Jiangle Dayan 32MW Hydropower Project, China
The project is a low water head run-of-river hydropower plant, is the third grade project. The project will reduce the import and increase the export of the electricity to ECPG, subsequently displace power generation by coal-fired power plants, which is the dominant power generation of ECPG.

CCX - Tiefa Coal Industry Group CMM Utilization Project, China
The proposed Tiefa CMM utilization project consists of three activities: (1) the capture of pre- and post-mining methane from six coal mines in the Tiefa mining area, (2) the blending of the two streams of methane to achieve a stable supply of methane of adequate concentrations, and, finally, (3) the supply of the methane to two gas supply companies who supply end users in the area.

VER+ - Reduction of Methane Emissions by Implementing and Optimising the Operation of Biogas Installations, Germany
The project aims at avoiding methane emissions from all sorts of manure by fermenting the substrate instead of employing it untreated onto the fields as would be business-as-usual. The biogas produced in the fermentation process is used to generate electricity and heat.

VCS - Methodology Audit: Baseline and Monitoring Methodology for REDD projects (mosaic)
The Carbon Management Service of TÜV SÜD is currently on the second round of auditing of a new methodology for Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD) projects according to the requirements of the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS). The methodology is titled “Baseline and Monitoring Methodology for Project Actions that Reduce Emissions from Deforestation on Degrading Land” and is relevant for deforestation and degradation of the mosaic type. It can be applied in situations where a complex set deforestation agents and drivers of deforestation and degradation interact.

The Conestoga Winds Project (hereinafter referred to as the Project Activity or the Project) is a windpowered electricity generation facility that will be located over an area of about 16 square miles in Stevens County, Kansas, USA.

VCS - Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority Landfill Gas Collection and Combustion Project, USA
In order to control greenhouse gas emissions and take advantage of carbon and electricity markets, the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority decided to partner with PPL Energy Services to construct a new landfill gas-to-energy system, optimized for gas recovery from Site No. 101544.

VCS - “Fuel Switching at Atocongo Cement Plant and Natural Gas Pipeline Extension, Cementos Lima, Peru”
The proposed project “Fuel Switching at Atocongo Cement Plant and Natural Gas Pipeline Extension” consists in the switching mainly from coal to natural gas in two cements kilns at Atocongo Cement Plant, in Peru.

GS - Çatalca 60 MW Wind Farm Project - Turkey
Ertürk Elektrik Üretim A> installed a 60 MW wind power plant in Çatalca district of Istanbul in Turkey. The purpose of the project is to generate electricity and to feed it into the public grid. By replacing fossil fuel power generation, the greenhouse gas emission in Turkey is reduced.

CCBA - Reforestation in grassland areas of Idete, Mufindi District, Iringa Region, Tanzania.
The overall objective of the A/R CDM activity is to contribute to meeting the growing demand for quality wood products from well-managed plantation forests while also contributing to sustainable environmental management, community development and poverty alleviation in Tanzania.

GS - Yuntdag 42.5 MW Wind Farm Project - Turkey
The purpose of the project is to generate electricity and to feed it into the public grid. By replacing fossil fuel power generation the greenhouse gas emission in Turkey is reduced.

VCS Methodology Audit - REDD Methodology Modules
The Carbon Management Service of TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH is carrying out a methodology audit according to the requirements of the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS). The new methodology follows a modular approach and is intended to be used for projects that reduce emissions form deforestation and degradation. The methodology is currently not tied to a specific REDD project.

AAU - Poland: PCF Stargard Geothermal District Heating Project, Poland
The Stargard district heating system has been supplied effectively from coal heat only boilers for decades. The existing boilers have been maintained and sufficient capacity is installed to cover the expected loads for the foreseeable future.

VCS - Waste Heat Based Captive Power Project in Hunan Hualing Liangang, China
The objective of the Waste Heat based Captive Power Project in Hunan Hualing Liangang is to utilize the CDQ system to recover waste heat of hot red coke to generate electricity, displacing part of the electricity purchased by Hunan Hualing Liangang from the Central China Grid, thus avoiding CO2 emissions from the business-as-usual scenario electricity generation of those fossil fuel-fired power plants connected into the Central China Grid.

VCS - Quilleco Hydroelectric Project, Chile
The Quilleco Hydroelectric Project consists of a run-of-river power plant of 70 MW that uses the water discharged by the Rucúe hydropower plant (130m3/sec). The project will generate approximately 422 GWh per year and will inject 47 MW of firm power to the Central Interconnected grid.

VCS - Hornitos Hydroelectric Project, Chile
The Hornitos Hydroelectric Project consists of a run-of-river power plant of 55 MW that uses water of the Aconcagua river. It produces an average annual generation of 270 GWh.

VCS - Curva de Rodas and La Pradera Landfill gas management project, Colombia
The purpose of the project activity is to install a controlled methane capture and flaring system simultaneously at the Curva de Rodas and the La Pradera landfills in order to reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission.

AAU - Greening AAUs - “Utilization of Coal Mine Methane at the Coal Mine Sukhodilska-Skhidna”, Ukraine
The purpose of this project is the decreasing of methane emissions into the atmosphere at the Coal Mine “Sukhodilska-Skhidna”, further referred to the Sukhodilska mine or simply the mine. There are three sources of CMM at the Mine: from surface wells, through underground drainage system and from ventilation.

VER+ - BARES II Wind Power Plant, Turkey
BARES II WPP is located at 10 km east of Bandirma, which is one of the largest districts of Balikesir Province and situated on the coast of Marmara sea. The project involves 20 General Electric 1.5se series turbines, with 1.5 MW capacity each.

GS - Eecopalsa – biogas recovery and electricity generation from Palm Oil Mill Effluent ponds, Honduras
The purpose of the project activity is the recovery of biogas from the POME ponds of PALCASA’s palm oil mill located in Honduras. The biogas, as a result of the wastewater treatment in the palm oil industry with lagoons, mainly contains methane. Without the project activity the methane emits freely into the atmosphere. The project activity covers the lagoons and captures a major amount of methane.

GS - Energeticos Jaremar – Biogas recovery from Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) ponds, and heat & electricity generation, Honduras
The project activity involves the recovery and energetic use of biogas. The biogas is originally produced by the palm oil mill effluent (POME) ponds at Agrotor palm oil mill located in Honduras. The effluent waste water treatment system converts the organic content of the waste water to biogas. As part of the biogas, methane is formed and released into the atmosphere.

VER+ - Carhuaquero IV Hydroelectric Power Plant, Peru
The proposed project is a run-of-river hydropower plant, located 80 kilometers (km) east of Chiclayo City, in the Department of Cajamarca, north of Lima at 372 meters (m) above sea level (masl). The plant will have an installed capacity of 9.7 MW and a projected yearly average generation of 42 Gigawatt hours (GWh). The purpose of Carhuaquero IV Power Plant (the Project) is renewable electricity generation to be supplied to the Peruvian National Inter-connected Electric Grid (SEIN).

VER+ - Small-scale reforestation project in East Lombok, Indonesia - withdrawn
The project area is located on Kerbian, Labu Pandan Village, Sambelia Sub District, East Lombok District, Nusa Tenggara Barat Province, Indonesia. The area is a part of the severely degraded area of 5,565ha of the forest reserve where is categorized as a production forest of Provincial Forest. The project is located in the Jiangsu Yangtze River International chemistry park, which is 20km distance from the downtown of Zhang jiagang, Suzhou city, Jiangsu Province. The purpose of the project activity is to recover waste heat from sulphuric acid production process to produce electricity, displacing part of electricity supplied by the East China Grid which predominantly relies on fossil fuel-fired power plants for power generation.

VCS - Tiefa Coal Industry Group CMM Utilization Project, China
Tiefa Coal Mine Methane Utilisation for Power Generation Project, which is sponsored by Tiefa Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd (TCIC), will utilize the coal mine methane currently being vented to atmosphere for power generation. The produced electricity will supply the mines, displacing part of the power consumption of the mines which was supplied prior to the implementation of the project from the Northeast Power Grid (NEPG).

In this project CMM, which has been sucked out of the active coal mine "Shcheglovskaya-Glubokaya”, has been utilised in a previous coal boiler, which has been upgraded with a CMM burning system. Additionally an upgraded ventilation air heater has been used. The methane has been burned to less harmful CO2.

VER+ - CMM utilisation on the Joint Stock Company “Coal Company Krasnoarmeyskaya Zapadnaya No 1 Mine”, Ukraine

The project activity is the capture and destruction of methane from the Worcester County Central Landfill, via a flaring system and electricity generators. This renewable electricity will be sold to the local grid, however, the displacement of fossil fuels resulting from this activity is not included in this Project and no emission reductions from the offsite use of electricity are addressed here.

GS - Mamak Landfill Waste Management Project – Turkey
The Mamak Landfill Waste Management Project is located at the Mamak landfill site in Ankara the capital city of Turkey. The proposed project will reduce GHG emissions in two ways. The first is by recovering, preventing and utilisation of methane and the second is by displacing electricity which otherwise would have been generated by the power plants attached to the Turkish grid.

In order to control greenhouse gas emissions and take advantage of carbon and electricity markets, the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority decided to partner with PPL Energy Services to construct a new landfill gas-to-energy system, optimized for gas recovery from Site No. 101544. This Project includes new wells and piping, a project building, blower, knockout and gas cleaning skids, and two 1.6-MW Caterpillar generators.

VER+ - “Hot air generation using renewable biomass fuel for spray drying and vertical drying application at H.&R. Johnson (India) Limited, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh”, India
In the pre project scenario, H. & R. Johnson (India) Limited, Dewas (HRJD), used to produce dust in the spray drier by using light diesel oil (LDO) as a fuel. The project activity primarily utilizes biomass residue (Soya Bean stalk), however if required Fluidized Bed Combustion FBC system is designed to use other renewable biomass residues also.

The objectives of this project are to establish and manage forest plantations so as to contribute to the demand of high quality wood products from a sustainable managed forest and To sequester CO2 through forest planting in grassland areas, generating high quality emission reductions in greenhouse gases that can be measured, monitored and verified.

This project will reforest 919.3 ha of pastures with commercial native timber species.

The methane produced by the waste within the landfill is collected and is destroyed through flares reducing the GhG emissions into the atmosphere.

VER+ - Yangjiawan 9MW Hydro Power Project In Guizhou Province, China
The proposed project is a run-of-river hydro power plant sited on Xishui River in Shibao Town, Chishui City in Guizhou Province with the installed capacity 9MW. Electricity generated by the proposed project displaced part of the electricity generated by China Southern Power Grid which is dominated by fossil fuel-fired power plants, and thus greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions could be achieved.

The main feature of the project is the energy production by wind turbines substituting electricity produced by mostly oil-shale fired power plants. The Viru-Nigula Wind Farm Project is located at the north coast of Estonia, some 125 km east of Tallinn. The project involves the installation of 8 Finnish WinWinD turbines with a capacity of 3,0 MW each, providing a total capacity of 24 MW.
