VER+ - Firnis 9.6 MW run of river Hydropower project, Turkey
Maraj Enerji plans to install two 4.8 MW vertical axis turbines (total capacity 9.6 MW) at Firnis Brook, which is one of the main branches of GÜREDN Creek spilling over Menzelet Dam Lake in Middle Ceyhan Basin. It is a run of river hydro power station making use of the elevation difference of 126 meters, producing renewable energy that will be fed into the Turkish electricity grid.
